Here is a converted Captain Shrike miniature I painted for fun. I thought he would look good painted in red and gold, so I converted him into a Blood Angel, and made the base out of greenstuff and some 40K scenery. I had to wiegh the base down by gluing a large metal washer under the base, so it would be stable enough to support the miniature. I thought he turned out pretty cool.

This was a fun little project using some Classic Games Workshop miniatures. Both these minis are long out of production. It was kind of strange working on some miniatures 15 years after I paid for them. It is up on ebay: orc auction

Here is the Young Hedge Knight from Dark Sword Miniatures George R. R. Martin Masterworks Song of Ice and Fire line. He is probably my favorite Dark Sword Miniature right now. But Jeff Grace has just sculpted a great new batch of minis for Dark Sword. I am excited to get a chance to paint several of these new masters for Dark Sword.
